    What is the eCLoud service?

Imagine being able to access a virtual datacenter in just a few minutes where you could update all your resources automatically in real-time, this is the concept behind the eCloud service. You can start with just one server and then increase to 50 or more in just a few minutes. You will also be able to scale down resources for just one hour, all in complete freedom and in real time. Our structure, completely realised on a 10GigE network, allows for the migration of clouds from one node to another without causing any downtime or service disruptions to the customers. Everything is managed with complete transparency. You will not find anything else like it in Italy, that's why we are inviting you to try our service free of charge so that you can discover the real meaning of the word "customised".

What makes you different from other existing Clouds?

Our solution, completely developed in-house, allows you not only to create a VM and customise your resources, but also to create additional ones all on the same account. You will purchase your resources and, within your allowance, you will be able to create, destroy, and modify clouds to your full liking, with no restrictions. You will be able to create an entire virtual datacenter with either a public or private network and create a wide range of clustering, load-balancing, fail-over solutions and lots more.

Why do you adopt an hourly billing system?

Our service model is targeted to different types of clientele. From webmasters who want to keep their websites online 24/7 to developers who require Clouds for just a few hours. Our service caters for all requirements; the idea is to give customers complete freedom.

If you bill on an hourly basis, why do you also show the daily and monthly cost?

By showing the estimated cost per day and per month along with the hourly charge, we allow you to easily keep track of the overall service costs. In any case, the system will withdraw funds from your credit based on the resources used on an hourly basis. An invoice will be issued any time you top up your credit.

What’s the difference between eClouds and Dedicated Services?

With eCloud, you will be able to activate a Cloud in minutes without having to wait for the much longer delivery times associated with dedicated servers. You will be able to change you resources in real time, create new Clouds or destroy existing ones all from your customer panel, even just for one hour with great savings. With the dedicated servers, on the other hand, if you need, say, to increase you ram capacity, you will have to wait that an engineer turns off the machine, changes the hardware settings and switches the system back on. Clouds offer better reliability as they operate on a fail-over structure allowing for the easy migration of clouds between nodes without causing any downtime.

Is traffic between the clouds I have created free of charge?

Of course. From the control panel, you will be able to activate the secondary network and communicate between Clouds via a Private IP. Clouds will communicate with each other in Gigabit.

How many clouds can I create from my account?

You will set the limit yourself from your control panel. Potentially you will have no restrictions. If you grow, our service will grow with you.

What is the limit for allocatable resources to a single cloud?

You will decide this limit from your control panel. Potentially you will have no restrictions. If you grow, our service will grow with you.

How much CPU will I have in each Cloud?

The Cloud nodes are based on dual CPUs with a minimum of 4 cores. Each single Cloud has 4 CPU cores where the weight of the CPU cycles depends on the size of the Cloud. For example, a Cloud with 4GigaBytes of RAM will be twice as heavy as a Cloud with 2GigaBytes of RAM. The customer will be able to allocate additional CPU cores at any time. Each additional CPU core will be dedicated to the single Cloud.

What happens if there are insufficient resources on the Cloud?

Our infrastructure operates on a SAN shared storage platform with computational nodes. This configuration, thanks to its three full 10GigE networks, enables us to migrate VMs live in just a few minutes. The migration from one node to another will not cause any downtime and will be completely transparent to the customer. If the node where you are hosted has insufficient resources to execute the upgrade, our system will migrate the virtual machine to a new node without causing any downtime.
